Coming to West London
A café by day. A listening room in the evening. A little corner of West London that feels like your own.
The Concept
Side B is named after the other side of the record — and the other side of life. The side that isn't about work, deadlines, or being somewhere else. It is a place to step out of all that, slow down, and enjoy something different: good coffee, good company, and music that actually deserves your attention.
By day, it is bright and welcoming — a neighbourhood spot to work, to think, to meet a friend. By early evening, the mood shifts. Tables clear. The music gets louder. Some nights, live performances at 7pm and 8:30pm. Others, a carefully curated vinyl session where every record earns its place on the turntable.
There is no hot kitchen. There is no fuss. There is very good coffee, cold drinks, evening cocktails, and the kind of atmosphere that makes time feel less urgent.
2–3 evenings of live music per week. Vinyl listening the rest.
2–3 nights per week · Sets at 7pm & 8:30pm
Intimate performances in an intimate room. Early sets that let you make an evening of it — dinner before, drinks after. The kind of gig where the artist is close enough to feel the room.
The other evenings · With liner notes
On the quieter nights, records take over. A short introduction to each — where it came from, why it matters — and then you listen. Not as background. As the point.
Food & Drink
No hot kitchen. No overcomplicated menus. Just the things that belong in a room like this.
The People
Side B is a project by three friends who wanted somewhere in West London that didn't quite exist yet. A space that takes its coffee seriously in the morning and its music seriously in the evening — and never takes itself too seriously in between.

Location
Side B is looking for a home in a neighbourhood that is both lived-in and worth going out in. Somewhere with a community around it — and room for one more good thing.
